all's quiet

The past few days have been relatively uneventful on the side effects end of things. In that I had none. This makes me happy.

I finished up the Clomid on Sunday, and am due to start ovulation testing on Friday. I was reading the instructions for the ovulation predictor kit last week, and for being from the Clear Blue Easy company, they didn't really seem to be clear, blue, or easy. In the kit, you get like 7 predictors that look like pregnancy tests. You figure out when you're most likely to ovulate based on your cycle day, and use them daily. Apparently there's a couple of lines that will show up when the right hormone is released, and from that you can tell that you're going to ovulate in the next 36-48 hours. The fun part begins when you start trying to tell if the lines are "faint" or "dark" and how they compare between days (are they darker today?). Especially since you're not supposed to keep them for comparison purposes, and who wants to hang onto a stick you've peed on anyway? (Not even my dog is into that.)

So that's the next adventure: peeing on sticks.
