We got a lot of really nice things, and Pat was reunited with his beloved "Soft Brown Dog".
Soft Brown Dog will find a home on a high shelf in the nursery, where he can keep an eye on things. He's a little fragile around the seams (has Velveteen Rabbit thing going for him).More photos from the shower can be seen here.

I'm glad y'all had fun! I remembered as I came home, but if you want some help installing the car seat, just give me a jingle! (It's my pet peeve...seeing car seats installed too loose...:)
Thanks for the offer! The RI police and fire stations all supposedly have someone on staff who's certified in proper car seat installation, so once we've done battle with the seat, we're planning on checking in with one of them to make sure we did it right. If we get stuck, though, I'll let you know.
Not a problem! Again, thought of this after the shower, but the best $15 I spent was on a seat belt tightener at Toys R Us. Ethan's car seats are goin' nowhere with these babies...
